A Luxurious Masterpiece Now Available from RM328,800

Kuala Lumpur, 24 October 2025 – WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA), the official sole distributor of GAC in Malaysia, today announced the official selling prices for the GAC M8 PHEV, a luxurious masterpiece that combines refined craftsmanship, intelligent hybrid technology and exceptional comfort in a premium MPV.

The GAC M8 PHEV is offered in two variants, with on the-the road price for Pen.Msia (excluding Insurance) for the Premium at RM328,800 and the Luxury at RM388,800. To celebrate its market introduction, customers who place bookings before 31 December 2025 will enjoy two years of complimentary scheduled maintenance and receive a portable charging cable, offering a combined value of RM3,800. These exclusive offers are available for a limited time and subject to specific terms and conditions.

At the heart of the M8 PHEV is a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine paired with a 2-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) and an electric motor, delivering a combined maximum output of 372PS and 630Nm of torque. With an impressive driving range of up to 1,038km on a full charge and a full tank, powered by a 25.57kWh battery and 56-litre fuel capacity, the M8 PHEV delivers a seamless balance of power, efficiency, and long-distance comfort.

Featuring an advance Adaptive Vehicle Dynamics Control System and an Electromagnetic Damping Suspension, it ensures outstanding driving comfort and stability across different road conditions. The advanced hybrid powertrain offers three intelligent driving modes – Intelligent Hybrid, All-Electricity First and Power Preservation – catering to the versatile needs of modern drivers.

True to its positioning as a “Luxurious MPV Masterpiece”, the M8 PHEV redefines first-class travel on wheels. Its striking “Lion-like” front face and signature “Awakening Eye” LED headlights make a bold visual statement. This is further complemented by 18-inch alloy wheels with a signature self-levelling wheel caps. Inside, the cabin exudes refined elegance with semi-aniline leather upholstery, extended 480mm second- and third-row sliding rails for best-in-class legroom, and an ultra-quiet interior enhanced by 108 sound insulation points and an Engine Noise Control (ENC) system. The unique M8’s draft-free air conditioning system, powered by Cool-Sense Technology, delivers gentle, wind-free cooling for an elevated sense of comfort.

In terms of safety, the M8 PHEV features the outstanding GAC’s patented world-first rear windscreen airbag as part of a 360° comprehensive airbag system, along with a suite of advanced technologies including Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Full Automatic Parking Assist (FAPA) to ensure peace of mind for all occupants.

Owners of the GAC M8 PHEV will enjoy a 5-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty and an 8-year or 150,000km battery warranty, whichever comes first.

The GAC M8 PHEV is now available for sale at GAC showrooms nationwide, with test drives offered by appointment. As part of the launch celebration, the M8 PHEV will also be showcased at a series of upcoming roadshows, including Desa Park City, WaterFront from 24 to 26 October, Johor Mid Valley SouthKey Centre Court from 5 to 9 November, and the Malaysia Car of the Year Showcase at 1 Utama from 12 to 16 November.
