Johor Bahru, 25 April 2025 – GAC Motor and AION have officially strengthened their presence in Southern Malaysia with the latest opening of the GAC Motor & AION Johor Jaya 3S Center. This milestone marks a significant step in providing enhanced accessibility, convenience, and top-tier automotive services to customers in the region.

The ribbon cutting ceremony, held on 25 April, was attended by key representatives from WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA), WariTan Automobile Sdn Bhd and eGarage Auto Services Sdn Bhd.

The showroom is strategically located in the prime area of Plentong, Johor, and is designed to provide a comprehensive 3S (Sales, Service & Spare Parts) experience. Spanning 19,248 sq ft, the well-equipped service center features 4 hoists and 6 work bays, with ample space for future expansion. It is staffed by a dedicated team of 7 certified technicians and service advisors, ensuring high-quality service and technical expertise. The 6,590 sq ft showroom and customer lounge are supported by 7 professional sales consultants, delivering a seamless and comfortable experience for customers. Additional amenities include WiFi connectivity, a kids’ play area, and access to an EV charger to support the growing demand for electric mobility.

With the addition of the Johor Jaya showroom, GAC Motor & AION now operates a total of 20 showrooms across Malaysia, including East Malaysia (Kuching and Kota Kinabalu). Additionally, to support its growing customer base, the brand has established three strategic Parts Hubs in Northern, Central, and Southern Malaysia, ensuring efficient aftersales service and parts availability.

To celebrate the showroom’s opening, a special GAC Motor Showroom Weekender event on 26 to 27 April 2025, offering customers an immersive experience with test drives, the GAC Motor and AION model line-up including the special preview of the all-electric AION HYPTEC HT SUV and light refreshments. Visitors can also enjoy exclusive promotions, including up to 9 months of free instalments on the GAC GS3 EMZOOM and up to 15 months of free instalments with a complimentary portable charger for AION Y Plus bookings. Additionally, customers who purchases an EMZOOM Premium-R variant during the event will receive a complimentary GAC Smart Watch, adding further value to their ownership experience.

Customers can explore the latest vehicle offerings, including the GAC GS3 EMZOOM, priced between RM103,800 to RM126,800, backed by a 5-year/150,000km vehicle warranty plus an additional 7-year/180,000km engine and transmission warranty. Meanwhile, the AION Y Plus is available from RM119,800 to RM135,800, supported by an 8-year/160,000km vehicle warranty and an 8-year/200,000km power battery and drive motor/electric control warranty.

Looking ahead, GAC Motor & AION is set to expand our lineup in the second half of the year, with the much-anticipated launch of the GAC M8 Premium MPV, the all-electric HYPTEC HT SUV, and the sporty GAC EMKOO SUV, offering customers even more choices in cutting-edge automotive technology.

With the showroom now fully operational, customers in the southern region are welcome to visit at No 2, Jalan Johor Jaya, Taman Johor Jaya, 81100 Johor Bahru. The 3S Center is open Monday to Saturday from 9:00AM – 7:00PM, and on Sundays and public holidays from 10:00AM – 5:00PM. The service center operates Monday to Saturday from 8:30AM – 5:00PM, with Sundays and public holidays closed.
