Refreshed, Ready, Revved Up: GAC GS3 EMZOOM Enhanced with Strong Value Intact
Kuala Lumpur, 4 May 2026 – WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA), the official distributor and assembler of GAC vehicles in Malaysia, today introduced a refreshed GAC GS3 EMZOOM. Guided by the theme “Refreshed, Ready, Revved Up,” the update brings minor design enhancements, reinforcing its appeal as one of the most engaging and performance driven SUVs in its segment.
The latest update includes a redesigned Flowing Diamond Star front grille and a new two-tone exterior option for the Premium R variant. The EMZOOM is now available in four colour options: Graphite Grey with Black Roof, Super Star Silver with Black Roof, Frost White with Black Roof, and Asphalt Black.
“We have seen strong interest in the EMZOOM among Malaysians, particularly for its balance of performance, features, and value,” said Loh Ling Howe, Chief Operating Officer of WTCA. “This refresh enhances its visual appeal while maintaining the core strength of sportiness that have made it a popular choice in its segment.”
Under the hood, the EMZOOM continues with its 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 177 PS and 270 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. It offers responsive performance for both city and highway driving. With a 0–100 km/h time of 8 seconds and fuel consumption rated at 5.9L/100km, it strikes a strong balance between performance and fuel efficiency.
The EMZOOM remains well-equipped within its segment with features such as a digital cockpit with dual screens, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Full Automatic Parking Assist (FAPA). The Premium R variant also includes a switchable sports exhaust system and Aero kit for a more sporty and engaging drive.
Pricing remains unchanged, reinforcing the EMZOOM’s strong value proposition. It is priced from RM116,800 for the Exclusive variant and RM126,800 for the Premium R variant (Peninsular Malaysia, on-the-road without insurance). For a limited time, customers can enjoy rebates of up to RM18,500, with monthly instalments from as low as RM912.
The EMZOOM is supported by GAC’s growing network of 23 showrooms and 45 service centres nationwide. It comes with a 5-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty, along with a 7-year/180,000 km engine and transmission warranty.
The refreshed EMZOOM will be available at GAC showrooms nationwide, with test drives open to customers from 9 to 10 May.
